白茶是中国传统六大茶类之一,其制作工艺独特,不经杀青或揉捻,只经过晒或文火干燥后加工的茶,成品茶呈灰绿色、银白色,故名白茶;具有外形芽毫完整,满身披毫,毫香清鲜,汤色黄绿清澈,滋味清淡回甘的品质特点。
白茶的主要产区是福建省的福鼎、政和、简阳、松溪,以采摘等级和茶树品种区分。基本工艺包括萎凋、烘焙(或阴干)、拣剔、复火等工序。白茶因茶树品种和原料要求的不同,分为白毫银针、白牡丹、寿眉、贡眉四种产品。
White Tea Workshop白茶体验课意在为茶叶爱好者带来由顶尖制茶师以传统工艺制成的来自中国核心产区的优质白茶,配合RuTeaing的专业侍茶师的冲泡与讲解,指导参与白茶体验课的茶友们学习不同等级白茶的独特制造工艺以及白茶的冲泡与鉴赏方法,且能区分紧压(饼状)白茶和散茶,以及新白茶和老白茶(陈化后),并初步了解白茶独特的药用功效和保健功效,以及白茶如何收藏与保存。
As one of the six main varieties of traditional Chinese tea, white tea has a unique production technique in that it requires neither firing nor rolling, which leaves the finished tea in gray-ish-green and silvery-white: hence the name. The main producing areas of white tea are Fuding, Zhenghe, Jianyang and Songxi, all in Fujian province, distinguished by the grade of picking and the variety of tea bushes. There are four different grades, namely Silver Needle (Baihao Yinzhen), White Peony, Gongmei, and Shoumei.
RuTeaing presents high-quality white tea from the core producing area in China, made by top-notch tea makers with traditional craftsmanship. A senior tea master is in charge of brewing and provides a comprehensive introduction to Chinese white tea. Aside from learning how to brew and appreciate white tea, participants will acquire knowledge of the unique manufacturing process, different grades, and the grading system of white tea. RuTeaing also introduces the difference between compressed (cake-shaped) white tea and loose tea, and the difference between the new white tea and the old (after aging) one. Last but not least, white tea collection and preservation, and the unique medicinal effects and health benefits of white tea.
